Good stuff. Would like to know more about depth from the perspective of all the freshmen/sophomores who didn’t see time but with further development may do so. Ex. the offensive linemen and defensive linemen

Well I can give you two true freshman names to pay attention to.

Coach Bielema often uses special teams to get players game reps the year before they will be in the two deep on offense or defense.

Brandon Henderson didn’t redshirt and played special teams as a freshman. So did Hunter Whitenack.

Jaheim Clarke played special teams as a true freshman and now playing on defense as a true sophomore. Saboor Karriem, Kenari Wilcher, and Mac Reserich all true freshman special teams that did not redshirt. So this is a good barometer for what true freshman will likely be in the two deep as sophomores.

Two players that are doing that this season as true freshmen are OL Brandon Hansen and S Tanner Heckel. Both those players could see some meaningful offensive and defensive snaps next season.
